Development of Customised Circuits

Circuits for every application Special applications require special circuits. The requirements range from robustness and durability to low power consumption. IMST GmbH supports the product wishes of its customers by developing suitable circuits. After a comprehensive requirement analysis, the IMST engineers propose a suitable concept. Depending on the specifications, it may be worthwhile to develop an integrated circuit. Other applications require particularly resistant or hermetically sealed circuits, for example, in the automotive sector or for applications in outer space. Sophisticated simulation tools ensure that every circuit is comprehensively tested before it goes into production. This is the only way IMST GmbH can offer its customers the quality they rightly expect.
Development of Customised Circuits

Integrated Circuits

IMST GmbH offers its customers the development of integrated circuits. Depending on the requirements, CMOS, BiCMOS or III-V processes of well-known manufacturers are used. While GaAs circuits have low noise figures, the use of GaN, for example, enables high output powers at high frequencies. BiCMOS processes, on the other hand, are suitable for high integration densities and also allow the use of logic. Further information can be found on the page Integrated Circuits.

Hybrid Circuits

For most circuits, IMST GmbH uses COTS (Commercial Off-The-Shelf) components to develop keyless entry systems, alarm systems for museums, toll systems or radars, for example. The IMST engineers find the right substrates and the appropriate assembly and connection technology to quickly provide the customer with a cost-efficient solution. We find the right circuit for any task.

LTCC Circuits & Housings

LTCC circuits (Low Temperature Co-fired Ceramics) are characterised by their particular robustness. They can, for example, be used as an oil sensor directly in the engine compartment of a car or, with a hermetically sealed housing, can be used in space. IMST GmbH maintains its own LTCC line, with which it can quickly provide customers with customised prototypes. Further information can be found on the page LTCC.

Evaluations Boards, Radio & Software

Many devices have to be programmed and tested before they can be used in a final circuit. Here, IMST GmbH offers its customers the production of evaluation boards, including software development for the common bus systems such as SPI, CAN, UART and others. When developing radio circuits, IMST is happy to use existing methods such as Bluetooth, Wifi, LoRa or similar. If desired, IMST GmbH also takes on the development of proprietary solutions, in the hardware and in the software.
