180^o Hybrid Coupler with Lumped Elements

The second example is a 4-port hybrid consisting of „ideal“ lumped elements like inductors and capacitors. This type of circuit is applicable for balanced mixers for example. The complete schematic representation is given in Figure 9-10 (on PC). Figures 9-11 shows the layout of the circuit. Most of the circuit is built in level 2 in order to keep the losses low (in the default foundry level 1 has a smaller thickness than the level 2). The results are plotted in Figure 9_12. The corresponding project directory is $EESOF_DIR/ examples/coplan_v2310_prj.
