The final meeting of the SAVELEC project took place on June 16-17 2016 in Linkoping, Sweden. The meeting included a demonstration in the presence of end-users from differnt countries of the EU.
The SAVELEC project (Safe control of non cooperative vehicles through electromagnetic means, supported by the FP7 Programme of the European Union with contract number: 285202), aims to provide a solution for the external and safe control of a non-cooperative vehicle without any consequences on the persons inside or persons and objects nearby. The proposed solution is based on the use of electromagnetic devices, electromagnetic pulses (EMP) and high power (HMP) to disrupt the proper behaviour of the electronic components inside the vehicle, which will lead it to slow down and eventually stop.
IMST congratulates all participants for the successful project completion and is grateful for the good cooperation with all the partners.
