The new 24 GHz radar module sR-1200e from IMST is now available with Ethernet (and Power over Ethernet). The frontend applies Infineon technology for a reliable and stable radar performance. The developer kit comes with a new Graphic User Interface including target detection and tracking features beside the well known basic radar functions.

These radar features are of benefit for users:

- Interface via Ethernet /TCP-IP with Power over Ethernet
- Generation of individual IP-addresses
- Communication and data transfer via GUI or interface commands
- Direct access to time and frequency domain data
- Detection and tracking functions available
- Wide range of radar fusion (e.g. Web-camera)
- High performance and best prices due to optimization of circuit design

The sR-1200e is ideally suited for measuring distances and angles of targets. Velocity can be determined in Doppler or FMCW mode. The radar is optimized for surveillance applications like intruder detection and tracking. It can be used on drones, robots, or indistrial vehicles for collision avoidance or distance measurements. This radar technology is of extremely versatile use. If a feature is missing, IMST will provide all knowledge to modify hardware, software and firmware according to customer's requirements.

The sR-1200e radar will be available in March 2016 and can be ordered at IMST's Webshop.
