Developments of Systems and System Solutions

System solutions IMST GmbH offers the development of systems and system solutions - completely from one source. These advantages are nicely illustrated by a real development task, such as a radar system. Different applications (automotive applications, maritime applications, security applications) illustrate the diversity of the IMST engineers. The high-frequency part of a radar system radiates the required power via an antenna. In this way, pedestrians can be protected or other cars identified. Ships are guided safely through the harbour. With the help of the digital part, not only radar pulses are generated. In our solutions, all signals are evaluated as well. Highly complex software transfers the data via an interface. AI algorithms can then distinguish people from animals or give an accurate picture of the surroundings, even in darkness, fog or rain. Certified safety – developed by IMST engineers.

Integrated Circuits

The high-frequency part of the high-power radar, for example, uses integrated and packaged GaN power transistors. If an integrated circuit is not available on the market, IMST will develop customised and demand-oriented solutions that can be implemented in various processes available worldwide. High frequency circuits and antennas

The heart of a radar is the high-frequency module. After careful analysis of all the necessary components and substrates, IMST GmbH develops particularly durable and cost-effective modules that have already been subjected to extensive electrical, field-theoretical and thermal simulations before production. Only in this way can our customers rely on receiving first-class quality within the shortest development time.

Digital Circuits

The digital part generates all necessary radar pulses and processes the received signals. Specially programmed FGPAs take over control tasks and route the data stream to the external Ethernet interface. IMST GmbH is always a reliable partner for all digital solutions from micro-controllers to FPGAs. We find solutions for every task.

Software

Hardly any system works without software today. IMST GmbH already uses design software during the development of systems in order to be able to offer all customers the best possible quality in the shortest possible time. Customised software solutions provide our customers with competitive advantages from a single source.
